What we support

Toranet understand that design & implementation are only a small part of the picture. At Toranet, we specialise in long-term customer relationships, which we believe is very much to the benefit of our customers.

We are strongly committed to ensuring that the whole sales cycle is properly considered. From initial discussion through to design & review, and onwards to proof-of-concept, pre-staging, installation, commissioning, test and sign-off, with a full level of support for the on-going life of the solution. Toranet work very closely with the manufacturer to ensure that the appropriate levels of training are obtained, to provide a truly value-added service offering to our customers.

 We are very much aware that there are different levels of expertise within our customer base, and we therefore can provide the appropriate level of support for each customer based on their specific needs. These range from a fully-managed service, which includes regular security and performance reporting, to a minimal approach when the customer has good in-house expertise & requires a small amount of specific expertise for the initial life of the project. The customer has the ultimate choice to decide what level of support is appropriate for their needs.

Our philosophy

A solution without adequate support is not an adequate solution.Modifications, extra requirements, problem solving and many other issues can arise during the life of a solution or project, and we believe in making sure that there is always adequate information and expertise to assist with these issues.

Clearly the manufacturer has a very strong role to play in the support process, as the source for updates & new features etc. It is common, however, for the manufacturer to be difficult to access when negotiating through a channel partner.

It has always been our philosophy that Toranet shall be an advantage to both the manufacturer and the customer, providing - where appropriate - a useful translation service given the different points of view involved. In other cases, a transparent approach is more appropriate, and is implemented if required.
